1.Where are you located?
We are located at 500 Main Street, East Greenwich, RI 02818 (Under Hill & Harbor Vet with a rear entrance)
2.Where should I park when I visit the studio?
Park in the parking lot located at 500 Main St. Park as close as you can to the side of Hill & Harbor Vet. Walk to the back of the lot, down the stairs, and my door is directly on your left.
3.Do I need an appointment to visit?
You need an appointment to visit. Please text 401.889.3760 or call and leave a message, as I cannot always answer the phone.
4.What are your hours?
We do not have any set hours, but afternoons or nights are usually best.
5.Are same-day appointments available?
Same day appointments are available depending on the day.
Classes
6.Do you offer stained glass classes for beginners?
Yes, we love introducing stained glass to anyone!
7.How do I sign up for a class?
You can sign up for any of our classes at www.fulcrumstainedglass.com
8.Can I make up a class if I miss one?
Yes you can make up a class, as long as you give at least 2 weeks notice and we approve it.
9.Do you offer private classes or workshops for groups?
Yes, we do! We can accommodate groups of 4-10 people. Sign up via www.fulcrumstainedglass.com and look for “Book a Make and Take Workshop!” under the In-Studio Classes section.
10.How much do classes cost?
Class costs vary. You can see them by visiting the “In-Studio Classes” section of this website.
11.Is there an age limit for students?
Currently there is no age limit for students. We've welcomed children as young as 10 yeas old as long as they've had supervison.
Shopping
12.Can I buy sheet glass and supplies from you?
We curently carry hobby sized sheet glass from Bullseye, Wissmach, Kokomo, Oceanside, Spectrum, CBS Dichroic Glass, Youghiogheny, Uroboros, Lamberts and St. Just . We also sell basic supplies such as solder, flux, patina, foil, hand tools, cutters, zinc, copper framing and a small variety of lead profiles.
13.Do you sell finished stained glass artwork?
We sell finished glass pieces! We sell out of a gift shop in Bristol, RI, Hotpoint Emporium and a fine art gallery in Bristol, RI, Plumb Gallery. You are always welcome to order commissions and pick them up here at the studio in East Greenwich.
Commissions & Repair
14.Do you take commissions for custom stained glass?
We take custom commissions for glass pieces
15.Can you repair a broken stained glass piece or window?
We also take repairs on a case by case basis
16.How do I request a quote for a commission or repair?
To request a quote, please text or leave a message at 401.889.3760. We do not give quotes over the phone. You can arrange to send pictures or bring the piece to the studio to be evaluated.
Payments & Policies
17.What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, credit/debit, Paypal and Venmo or check.
18.Do you require a deposit for classes or commissions?
In most cases, after your repair or commission is agreed upon by both parties, we accept half down and the remainder upon completion.
19.What’s your cancellation or refund policy?
We do not offer refunds on work in the process or repair or commissions. We do not offer refunds on purchased supplies or glass.
Miscellaneous
20.Are gift certificates available?
Yes! Gift certificates are available in store or online.
21.Do you collaborate with other artists?
We consider any opportunity to work with other artists and love doing so! Have an idea? Contact us!
