Lead Foundations Weekend Intensive Workshop

This advanced 2-day lead came intensive is designed for students who already have a solid foundation in stained glass and are ready to deepen their skills with traditional lead construction.

Tuition & Registration Options

Early Registration: $450 (2 seats only)
Regular Registration: $475
Last-Minute Registration: $525 (applies during the final 2 weeks before class)

A $125 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot.
The remaining balance is due on or before the first day of class.
Payment plans may be arranged prior to March 28, 2026 — please contact Renee to discuss options.

Glass is not included. Students may purchase glass from the studio or use their own.

Requirements

Participants must be very comfortable with:

cutting and grinding glass
fitting glass accurately into patterns
basic soldering and flux use

You will be required to select your glass and have it fully cut and fit to your pattern before the workshop begins.

Workshop Overview

Join us for a comprehensive deep dive into traditional lead came construction across two focused sessions. Upon registration, Renee will contact you to confirm which pattern you’d like to build.

You will receive:

physical copies of your chosen pattern mailed to you
a welcome packet with detailed preparation instructions

Preparation for Day One

All glass must be cut and ground according to the provided pattern prior to the first day of class. Completing this prep work ensures we can begin working with lead came immediately and make the most of our time together.

Meal Arrangements

Please bring a packed lunch for Saturday.
There will also be an option to participate in a group order from a nearby pizza place, or you’re welcome to order from any restaurant along Main Street.

Registration & Payment

The $125 deposit is non-refundable and reserves your seat in the workshop.
