Beginner Classes
This beginner class is designed for absolute beginners who’ve always wanted to experience the magic of glass art, without the pressure of a single long day. Instead, students attend 2 hours per week for 3 weeks, allowing time to learn, absorb, and enjoy the process. There are 5 different suncatcher designs to choose from, each one designed intentionally to help you learn the different processes of stained glass.
You’ll be guided step-by-step through the fundamentals of stained glass, including:
• Glass cutting and shaping
• Foiling and assembly
• Soldering techniques
• Finishing and framing
By the end of the three weeks, you’ll leave with a completed stained glass piece and a solid foundation in the craft.
CLASS FORMAT
• 2 hours per week for 3 weeks
• Held during regular scheduled class times
• Small group instruction for individual attention
AVAILABLE CLASS TIMES
• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday evenings: 7–9 PM
• Tuesday afternoons: 3–5 PM
Tuition is $225 per student and includes all glass, materials, and safety gear, full use of studio tools and equipment, and guided instruction throughout the entire process. No experience is required — just bring your curiosity, a love of color and light, and maybe some snacks.
*PAYMENT DETAILS AND CLASS POLICIES*
To ensure a smooth experience, payment is expected by the class date. Please note, a $100 non-refundable class fee will be applied for any no-shows. If you can't make it, please let us know at least one week prior to the class date. If it's less than a week before class and you need to cancel, I won't be able to refund your money. But don't worry, we'll do our best to accommodate you in a different class if needed.
Prefer to pay in cash? No problem! Just drop me an email so we can arrange a $100 non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance payable upon arrival.
